PRS Silver Sky John Mayer Grateful Dead Spec Limited Edition Very Collectible!

Here’s a very cool limited-run PRS Silver Sky "Dead Spec," designed to nail the specific Jerry Garcia-inspired tones John Mayer used during the final Dead & Company tour. Only 1,000 of these were produced worldwide. This model features the unique brass nut, string retainer, and the Alembic-style "Blaster" preamp that fundamentally separates it from a standard Silver Sky

Condition and Sound
This guitar is in excellent condition. It's not really showing any wear whatsoever besides a slight discoloration where you rest your arm and a tad on the back. No real dings or scratches to speak of besides the most minor pick scratches on the pickguard. This "Dead Spec" is effectively a hardtail; the Gen III bridge is surface-mounted to the body, which—combined with the brass nut and retainer—adds significant sustain and snap. The onboard Blaster preamp is fully functional, offering a switchable 3-14dB boost that pushes tube amps into a perfect, glassy breakup
