In the early 1980s, the heated vintage market increasingly pushed guitars and basses out of reach for working musicians. In response, Roger realized that it made sense to build instruments from scratch that incorporated all of the improvements that he had developed over the years. Additionally, his background in acoustic guitar building helped him to build lightweight, acoustically resonant instruments.
Today, Roger leads an experienced team that is dedicated to improving building techniques and finding innovative materials to build the best instruments for his customers.

This is a lovely 5-string Jazz Bass produced out of New York by the revered Sadowsky Company. It presents in great condition with very little player wear. There are a few small dents and scratches on the body but nothing offensive. A small channel has been neatly cut for ease of accessibility to the truss rod for adjustment. The guitar is setup with Bartolini pickups which sound great, along with a passive/active switch with vintage tone controls.
The Sadowsky looks striking, with its sleek black nitro finish and ebony fretboard; a real black beauty!
This guitar is owned and has been played by an Australian professional player and hence lives up to the standard required for performance at the highest level.
