This used Santa Cruz 1934-D dates back to 2023 and features all the hallmarks of a great vintage-inspired guitar - namely Adirondack, Brazilian Rosewood and hot hide glue construction. When combined with the Santa Cruz voicing and bracing this dreadnought delivers that big, bold herringbone sound. The large sound hole contributes to the big sound and harkens back to one of the most iconic bluegrass guitars ever played.
The Brazilian rosewood is absolutely stunning and delivers a gorgeous book matched, figured look. Richard Hoover and the crew at Santa Cruz are no strangers to great tonewoods and picked out an incredible set for this dread. Here in Very Good to Excellent condition, there is very minor pick/playwear and minimal fretwear but overall a lovely, modern heirloom dreadnought. A K&K Pure Mini pickup installed. Includes the original Ameritage hardshell case.
