This Taylor 914ce showcases the company's high-end, detail-rich aesthetic while offering incredible tonal sophistication. The Grand Auditorium-style body shape is incredibly versatile, and has been tweaked to provide a more powerful bass response and warmer midrange. Both of which are assisted by its Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides - a classic tonal combination that's well-balanced with nice projection - as well as a Tropical Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard.

Included is Taylor's Expression System 2 electronics, so the 914ce excels on stage just as well as it does on the back porch. It's a loud enough acoustic for a small gig, but for bigger crowds, plug in and let your audience enjoy that Taylor sound, just as it's intended. The scale length is 25 1/2" and the nut width is 1 3/4". It's also loaded with magnificent appointments: a hand-carved Ebony armrest, Ebony binding, Koa purfling, a Paua rosette with Koa/Paua/Koa trim, a Koa/Paua/Koa fingerboard extension, and Ascension-style inlays.
