This Taylor Guitars - K26ce B-Stock is an all-Koa acoustic featuring Taylor's Expression System 2 preamp system with that deep, rich all-Koa tone. Here in the Grand Symphony shape with a Venetian cutaway for easy access to the upper frets, it sounds wonderful, and the beauty of Hawaiian Koa is that it sounds even better with time as the wood opens up. The midrange especially already excels, but the more you play, the better it gets. Bright and focused, it has a certain warmth and depth to its voice. The scale is 25 1/2" and the bone nut is 1 3/4" making it a comfortable player overall.
The neck and heel are made from Tropical Mahogany, while the fingerboard is Ebony and is accentuated by the Island Vine inlay. Other appointments include a bone saddle, Taylor Gold tuners, and Indian Rosewood binding. Plus with the Expression System 2 preamp system, you hear exactly what you're playing whether you're plugged-in. The Taylor K26ce is an all-around amazing guitar, and the best part is it will only sound better with use. There is some playwear on this instrument, including some small dents in the finish around the waist on the treble side (see photos).
