Taylor’s 814ce-N is an excellent "crossover" nylon string cutaway guitar that has the mellow, round tone of a classical guitar but with some features that will appeal to steel string players. The fretboard has a comfortable 20" radius and a 1-7/8" nut width and the neck joins the body at the 14th fret, a setup that will feel familiar to players used to models like Dreadnoughts, Orchestra Models or Grand Auditoriums. This model has solid Indian rosewood back and sides and a Sitka spruce top, a classic tonewood combination that produces a rich lower end and clear articulate trebles. The 814ce-N is fitted with Taylor's own ES-N pickup and includes a hardshell case.
