Featuring an entirely Hawaiian Koa top, back and sides combined with Taylor's CV bracing under the hood to boost the already balanced tone of this grand concert sized guitar. These construction details allow for beautiful, even results whether softly fingerpicked or aggressively strummed. Koa, being an extremely dense tonewood, has a tendency to open up the more it's played revealing an even richer complex sound. Combine that with Taylor's Expression System 2 and you have a pickup system built-in that's engineered to enhance the guitars natural sound.
The fusion of it's slightly shorter 24 7/8" scale length and 1 3/4" nut width make for a really comfy player on such a small body guitar. Its appointments include a gloss finish, Indian Rosewood binding and a striking Island Vine fretboard inlay.
