This Anderson T Icon, here in their In-Distress Level 3 Translucent Butterscotch finish, is a vintage-inspired, t-style guitar from the masters down in Newbury Park, CA. Combing the best of vintage teles with just the right modern enhancements, makes for a truly spectacular guitar. Visually, the butterscotch finish and heavy relic'ing exude that vintage mojo you would expect from a guitar of this breed, which is tastefully rounded out with a black guard and chrome hardware.
Sporting a Traditional Slab Swamp Ash body, this guitar is incredibly light and well-balanced even without all the modern contours of the standard model - just that pure, classic t-syle shape. A new bridge design delivers on that classic feel and playability with material removed on the treble side to stay out of your pick attack, making palm muting a breeze. The new traditional 3 barrel saddles still retains that killer t-syle look with the ability for subtle intonation tweaks. Tonally, the vintage voiced TV1/3 Pickups give you that classic tele twang without sounding muddy or thin, and the bridge pickup is reverse wound to provide hum-canceling when the pickups are combined. And this goes without saying, but it plays like an absolute gem. Includes a hardshell case and a free Mass Street setup from our skilled team of luthiers.
