For budgets that don't include big bucks to spend on an original 62 Strat, the AVRI '62 Reissue is just about as good as you can get.
The American Vintage Reissue Series originally debuted during the twilight of the CBS era in 1982, when the '57 and '62 Reissue models were still built at the Fullerton, CA plant. In 1985, production of the series moved to the Corona, California where it remained until Fender ceased production of this AVRI model some years ago.
The '62 Vintage Reissue model featured specifications matching the 1962 Stratocaster, including body contours, neck shape, vintage style tremolo and bridge.
This guitar is in excellent condition. It has been lightly played and well looked after. There is some light scuffing on the back, some swirling on the pickguard, but barely a mark on the top. The neck is 95% as new, with a rich rosewood fingerboard and original frets with little wear.
