A landmark in electric guitar design, the Gibson ES-335TDC (Thinline Double Cutaway) remains one of the most expressive and versatile instruments ever made. This 1967 Kalamazoo-built example, with its factory Bigsby, block inlays, and soulful playwear, captures the essence of Gibson’s golden era - rich in tone, feel, and vintage character.

The semi-hollow maple body with a solid centre block delivers that perfect blend of airy resonance and solidbody sustain. The cherry red finish shows beautiful age checking throughout, with some evidence suggesting the top may have been refinished or oversprayed at some point in its life. The rest of the guitar appears original, with honest playwear and light dings consistent with its age. The cream binding has mellowed beautifully and remains fully intact.

It retains its original witch-hat knobs and a pair of later gold-plated tulip-style tuners that offer improved stability while complementing the vintage look. The factory Bigsby adds expressive shimmer and completes the 335’s unmistakable silhouette.

Tonally, this guitar delivers everything you’d expect - warmth and roundness from the neck pickup, clarity and bite from the bridge, and a dynamic, musical response that thrives across blues, jazz, and rock.

Playability is excellent, with action set at 0.5mm at the 1st fret and 1.25mm at the 12th. The neck profile is comfortably rounded, measuring 20.32mm at the 1st fret and 24.79mm at the 12th. Nut width is 39.4mm, tapering to 50.42mm at the 12th fret. Weight is a balanced 3.6kg (7.94lb).

A soulful, player-grade vintage Gibson with the right look, feel, and sound - this ES-335TDC is ready for the stage or studio.
