This 1963 Gibson SG Special (Serial: 234324) is a beautifully clean example of a true player’s vintage guitar, offering classic early '60s Gibson feel with modern reliability. Finished in its original Cherry Red, the guitar has been well cared for, maintaining a vibrant and glossy appearance with minimal wear.
It has been refretted, ensuring smooth playability, and features replaced tuners and a new bridge for improved tuning stability and intonation. The original P-90s have been swapped for a set of Seymour Duncan Antiquities, delivering rich, dynamic, and articulate vintage tone with extra warmth and bite.
A stable repair on the lower bout near the control cavity is present but does not impact tone, structure, or playability. Despite its player-grade status, this SG looks exceptionally clean while still delivering that raw, lightweight, and resonant early ‘60s Gibson experience. Comes in a non-original SKB hardshell case for solid protection.
A vintage SG with a clean, well-preserved look, upgraded for modern playability and reliability. Plays and sounds fantastic.
